To purchase art, please email me from the contact page.

All prices quoted are for unframed original works created personally by Aletta de Wal in the interior mountains of British Columbia, Canada.

The size measurements are for the actual artwork and do not include any pseudo frames in the background.

Archival materials include, but are not limited to: Acid-free papers and boards; reinforced stretched canvas; alkaline adhesives and bonding agents; glass, plastic and coated wood panels; acrylic paints and oil pastels; acrylic gel, glaze or varnish on surfaces. These high-quality components help protect the artwork from damage and degradation caused by acids, light and pollution.

Non-archival materials include, but are not limited to: corrugated cardboard, commercial packaging, foam core, fabric and thread. To maintain structural stability, the base layers are reinforced.

The layers in each artwork in between the substrate and top coat are primarily materials accumulated in the course of everyday life and collected ephemera. All materials and media are personally sourced and clear of contaminants that might affect the quality of the art piece.

Ephemera, items, normally made of paper, created for a specific, limited purpose. Include, but are not limited t: advertisements, tickets, brochures, mail, photographs and receipts. Ephemera adds layers of meaning to the work because of the association with a person, place, event or subject.
